Simplified construction makes it easy to use. A monochromatic yellow LED light source fitted inside a cylindrical housing operates on 10V DC. A 10cm long specimen tube is used for observing the concentration and the angle of rotation of light through different solutions. The outer edge of the lid has a pointer, which coincides with the scale printed on the outer surface of the cylindrical body and to gives angle of rotation.
