Intermediate Spectrometer
Catalogue No: 1111520
More robust and provides better performance. The main structure is of heavy cast metal, with bright plated fittings. The complete instrument is supplied in wooden case.
Scale:150mm diameter circle with protective plastic shield is fixed to the telescope movement and the table is attached to a double ended vernier, which reads to 1 minute of arc. Both telescope and table rotation has fine adjustment screws and release of a clamping screw enables adjustment of both movements to be made by hand.
Collimator: Mounted on fixed pillar and fitted with achromatic objectives with FL 178mm, 25mm clear aperture. Also fitted is a unilaterally adjustable slit 7mm long.
Telescope: Mounted on moveable pillar and fitted with achromatic objective with FL 178mm, 25mm clear aperture. Also fitted is a 8x Ramsden eyepiece and a glass cross line graticule.
Prism Table: The table is marked with lines to assist placing the prism with respect to the table leveling screws.
Both the telescope and collimator have rack and pinion focusing incorporates provision for leveling the axis of collimator and telescope along the axis of rotation.
Standard Accessories Supplied: 1 Prism clamp, 1 diffraction grating holder, 1 magnifier, 1 wooden case.

Investigating Energy Transfer
Catalogue No: 1060825
Study heat and light with the simplest of materials – a black can, a silver or white can and a connecting copper bar. Measure the temperature inside dark and shiny bright cans to determine the different ways light and heat are absorbed and radiated. Fill both cans with water – one with hot, one with cold and connect them with the included energy transfer bar. Observe how the temperature of the water changes.

Jolly’s Bulb And Gauge
Catalogue No: 1021030
It consists of a glass bulb of Dia. 60mm fitted with a bourdon gauge to investigate the relationship between temperature and pressure at a constant volume. Pressure inside the glass bulb can be read directly from gauge on immersing the bulb in hot or cold water.

Joule And Watt Meter
Catalogue No: 1060950
Electrical energy consumed by a load with power is directly indicated on the front panel meter with a single selection switch. One can see either energy or power consumed by the applied load. Even we can use this instrument with data logger. A potential difference of 0-1V will generate on pulse output sockets. Max. input voltage for the meter is 24V D.C and 17V A.C with 10A max. current. Load current can be controlled by just rotating the knob fitted on the front panel indicated with load current.

Kinetic Theory Model
Catalogue No: 1021380
For demonstration of the kinetic theory of gases explaining the molecular motion of the gases, thinning of air with increasing altitude, change in pressure / volume with change in temperature etc. Comprises clear acrylic cylindrical tube mounted on a plastic enclosure with a rubber diaphragm at its lower end and a loose-fitting cap at its upper end. Just underneath the diaphragm, a piston driven by a low voltage DC motor is provided for producing oscillatory motion or vibration of the diaphragm. A pair of colour-coded 4mm safety sockets are provided for power input. Includes 1/8″ metal spheres and free-sliding cardboard discs for loading at the top. Operates on 6V DC.
