Newton’s Second Law of Motion Apparatus
Catalogue No: 1030860
For demonstrating the Newton’s Second Law of Motion. Comprises a spring loaded steel launcher mounted in brackets on a metal base. Also includes a pair of steel spheres, one solid and other holed to slide it into the launcher. Complete with a rod mounted on the base for fixing the apparatus on a suitable retort stand. Spring compressed by the handle can be locked into two different positions corresponding to two potential energy levels. Once spring is compressed, both the spheres can be located at their respective places. On releasing the handle, the launcher imparts horizontal velocity to the solid sphere while the other sphere simply falls vertically. Falling of both the spheres on the ground implies that vertical and horizontal velocities are independent.

Newtonian Demonstrator or Collision Balls on Metal Frame
Catalogue No: 1030820_1
Useful to illustrate Newton’s Third Law of Motion. Its graphical demonstration of elastic collisions qualitatively, is far superior to any other device on account of its size and total absence of friction. The unit comes completely assembled and consists of a frame with steel balls, suspended on the frame through lightweight cord. By pulling and releasing the different number of balls, collision results among the balls can be observed to draw many interpretations.
* On metal frame, with 6 steel balls of 19mm diameterPack of (Pcs): 1

Oersted’s Law Apparatus
Catalogue No: 1070800
To show the effect of electric current on a magnet. Comprises a cobalt steel magnetic needle, about 75mm long, with agate bearing supported on pivot mounted on insulated pillar on base and surrounded by a rectangular frame of aluminum strip. Passing the current through nonmagnetic frame causes magnetic needle to deflect as per Oersted’s law.
