Tangent Galvanometer
Catalogue No: 1070820
Comprises a circular coil wound on non magnetic bobbin of bakelite about 160mm in diameter mounted vertically on a non magnetic, cast metal base, with the coil width very small as compared to its diameter. A compass box (magnetometer) is located at the center of the coil to make its needle experience uniform magnetic field due to current in the coil. The coil consists of three windings of enameled copper wire of different SWG. one each of 2, 50 and 500 turns. A circular platform on base carries a set of four socket terminal for connection to the coils and marked for each coil.

Tangent Galvanometer-Economical
Catalogue No: 1070845/1
Simple and economical tangent galvanometer is specially designed to demonstrate that a current carrying coil produces a magnetic field perpendicular to the direction of the current. On placing a magnetic compass on transparent platform, students can visualize that any change in electrical input in the coil produces change in teh magnetic field also.

Tangent Galvanometer, On Base
Catalogue No: 1070845
Simplest way to measure the current passing through a coil with the help of compass and earth’s magnetic field. Number of turns of coil can be selected on rotating the rotary switch fitted on the plasticmoulded base. A D type battery is used as a current source through the coil.

Telescope
Catalogue No: 1111420
Comprising a plano-convex lens of about 38mm diameter x 150mm FL, mounted in a tube about 400 x 50mm (length x diameter) and a double convex lens of 50mm diameter 500mm FL, mounted in a tube 400 x 55mm diameter. The small tube is located in the large tube by means of foam plastic rings, which provide an effective sliding. Equipped with rod for stand mounting. Useful for terrestrial as well as astronomical viewing. Supplied without stand.

Tesla Coil
Catalogue No: 1090685
Its spectacular performance makes it suitable for performing host of activities and demonstration of the undertaking concept including the unusual properties of high frequency electrical phenomena. Light emitting diode glow brightly when held near the coil, a 60W light bulb will light up, harmless spark showers and gigantic sparks can be produced by using two metallic circular discs. Compact version of the classic Tesla design generates high frequency, high voltage. An adjustable spark gap controls both frequency and generates output up to a maximum of over 50kV. We can understand many important topics such as transformer, electromagnetism, resonating electrical circuits, electric inductance, capacitance and electrical power transmission. Supplied with a discharge electrode.
* Operates on 220V AC, 50/60Hz. Also available optionally.
